Exciting Office Coordinator role within fast growing, global AI-tech firm based in the City of London to start before 25/03/24. Starting on a 1-month contract, with option to become permanent.

  • Start: IMMEDIATE (BEFORE 25TH MARCH)
  • Salary: 43k-48k (annual salary - temp to perm)
  • Location: London City (5-10 mins walk from Fenchurch Street & Liverpool Street)
  • Hybrid Role: (4 days per week in office/1 remote)

  • Size: 130 people in the London office
  • Contract-to-Perm: Initially starting on a 1-month contract, with a view to becoming permanent

This is an amazing opportunity to join a highly successful, global AI technology firm based in the City. You will be the go-to Office Manager/Front of House Manager, managing the the front desk, greeting employees and visitors, overseeing office administration, organising company and staff events, and ensuring the office runs smoothly at all times.

We are looking for a bright, upbeat and positive individual who enjoys providing a first-class service whilst managing all the moving parts. We are keen to hear from candidates with office management experience in medium to large companies, or those with reception experience looking to make the step up into an office management role.

Office Manager duties

  • Greet & assist visitors and staff arriving at the office
  • Liaise with building management, contractors and vendors
  • Ensure the office is in excellent condition at all times, organise office repairs, coordinate health & safety/security
  • Plan and coordinate engaging staff events, including socials, volunteer days, learning events
  • Organise regular team lunches, and order staff refreshments
  • Maintain office supplies, order equipment
  • Ensure meeting rooms and communal areas are maintained immaculately
  • Assist HR team with onboarding of new staff and HR administration
  • Book travel, hotels, transport and taxis

Office Manager skills

  • Excellent customer service, with a proactive approach and happy to help attitude
  • 2 years+ within office management, reception or administration
  • Ideally experience within tech, sales or a high-growth business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Google Suite (calendar, sheets, drive, slides)
  • Proficient in Slack, and generally strong with new technology
