Munchkin Sports are looking for a highly organised person to join their admin team!

At Munchkin Sports we work with over 4000 children each week, providing each child with the opportunity to learn new skills, strengthen their co-ordination and agility and have fun! It is our intention that every child that attends one of our classes or camps goes away with a sense of fulfilment. Working with schools and sports clubs we offer PPA/PE Cover, multi-activity Holiday Camps, and weekend classes for children aged 2-11 years in a wide range of different sports.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Munchkin Sports is rapidly expanding, and we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. The successful candidate will work at our Head Office in Catford and will be central to communicating Munchkin Sports’ ethos and values as the first point of contact for internal and external clients and customers.

Providing comprehensive administrative support, you will be a flexible problem-solver, who has effective communication skills, is able to multitask, and most importantly, be able to handle the unexpected! A detail orientated mindset with a cheerful outlook and calm manner, you must be able to prioritise a demanding workload and have experience in customer service, and strong computer skills are essential.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Work closely with and support the Admin Manager and Operations Director to coordinate daily planning and provide general clerical and administrative support with a variety of tasks including scheduling and liaising with schools and customers wishing to book activities.

• Produce and respond to correspondence via various methods of communication - email and phone.

• Class and camp administration, including preparing class registers and specific location requirements and liaising with both internal and external venues and clients.

• Register all new camps with Ofsted and register the settings to accept childcare vouchers and Tax Free Childcare payments.

• Debt Management and control of all bookings via our booking system and reconciling external payments.

• Assist in the analysis and evaluation of data and produce reports, registers, and information as required.

• Track and monitor company profit/loss for all products and provide data analysis on company revenue.

• Work closely within our online registration system and ensure all camps and classes details are accurately entered and regularly updated.

• Process all birthday party requests and work closely with the Operations Director to ensure the smooth set up and delivery of all parties.

• Assist with the administration and upkeep of the Staff Single Central Record (SCR) and ensuring all qualifications and training is valid.

• Work on a shared rota managing the client emergency phone at weekends during term-time.

• Distribute, track, and replenish company merchandise, stock, uniforms, and office supplies. • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the position as required to ensure the efficient and effective running of Munchkin Sports.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS / IDEAL CANDIDATE

Previous experience in a similar role

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

• Highly organised with a strong attention to detail

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Teams and associated Apps.

• Familiarity of using online database/booking systems

• Enthusiastic collaborator with a positive attitude.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL RECEIVE:

£25,000+ per annum, subject to experience

40 hours per week - 9am - 6pm with 1 hr lunchbreak

32* days holiday (inclusive of 8 public/bank holidays) * You will be required to take part of your annual leave on any working days that fall between Christmas Eve to New Year’s Eve.
