Ocean Freight Clerk

This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year’s experience within Ocean Freight Forwarding, import / export, to join this fabulous, friendly and professional organisation near Staines.

Though the role is for an Ocean Freight Clerk you will be cross trained in all departments.

They offer bespoke and first class logistical services to customers world wide via air, sea and road.

Ideally you will have some experience in either Ocean freight, import or export, however if your experience lies within air and road this would also be beneficial.

The role involves working with documents for shipping, customs, and other legal papers. You will also learn all aspects of Export control.

At least 1 year's experience is preferred as a minimum and basic admin and IT duties are essential.

Personal Requirements for this role include:

• At least 1 years’ experience within either import or export, preferably ocean freight or air freight
• Basic IT skills including Word and Outlook
• Good telephone manner and customer service skills
• Friendly and a team player
• organised and methodical
• Zest for learning, want to build a career
• Able to be security vetted

Hours of work are 9.00 - 5.30pm but can be flexible, with 1 hour lunch.

You may on occasion be asked to work overtime, of which is paid. There is also parking on site.
