Occupational Hygiene Technician (STEM Graduate)

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Salary: £29,112 OTE + Travel Allowance

The Client:

Our client’s Healthcare Company is one of the UK’s leading providers of occupational health services. Established by a group of occupational health professionals, they have experienced strong, steady growth. Their clients include leading names across a wide range of sectors.

The Role:

They are seeking an Occupational Hygiene Technician to join their multidisciplinary team. It is an excellent chance for a STEM graduate with industrial / construction experience. You will conduct monitoring and surveys for occupational hygiene, covering personnel and site activities involving various chemical, physical, and biological agents.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys
  • Assist in occupational hygiene investigations and studies
  • Perform workplace inspections
  • Support in training and information delivery
  • Contribute to occupational hygiene performance reports

Requirements:

  • STEM graduate with industrial / construction exposure
  • Ideally affiliated with Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (AFOH)
  • Working towards the certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (CertOH)

Schedule:

  • 5 days a week, covering both day and evening shifts.
  • Monthly schedule includes 3 weeks of day shifts and 1 week of shifts from 3 pm until midnight.
