O2C Business Analyst

Senior Order to Cash Business Analyst

• 6 months initially - £600 to £650 Outside IR35
• Hybrid - irregular travel into either Central London, West Midlands, or Manchester

Investigo are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to support our client through their ERP upgrade. You would be focusing on improving the efficiency of their Order to Cash (O2C) processes and spearheading the implementation of a new ERP system. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of O2C workflows, coupled with extensive experience in ERP systems implementation and optimisation.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of current O2C processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements for the new ERP system implementation, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows, facilitating clear communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and requirement gathering sessions to produce insights and validate proposed solutions.
• Work closely with vendors and IT teams to evaluate ERP system options, assess feasibility, and make recommendations based on business needs and technical requirements.
• Configure, customise, and test ERP system modules to ensure seamless integration with existing O2C processes and other business systems.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate system functionality, data integrity, and performance.
• Provide end-user training and support during the ERP system rollout, ensuring smooth transition and adoption across the organisation.
• Serve as a SME on O2C processes and ERP system functionality, offering guidance and support to internal stakeholders as needed.

Previous Experience:

• Proven experience as a Finance Business Analyst
• Previous experience working in roles focussing on O2C processes
• Strong understanding of O2C workflows, including order management, invoicing, billing, collections, and cash application.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Experience in leading end-to-end ERP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and support.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with a focus on delivering results.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools is desirable.
