Job Scope:

We are looking to recruit a Nursing Home Manager who will join our client’s team. As the Nursing Home Manager of our client’s residential facility, your role is to uphold exceptional standards of care and service in accordance with CQC regulations and policies. As the leader of the dedicated team, you’ll oversee daily operations to ensure that residents enjoy a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment. Your responsibilities include setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and providing guidance to staff to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the residents is always maintained.

You’ll also play a pivotal role in recruitment, training, and development as a Nursing Home Manager, fostering a culture of communication, learning, and continuous improvement. Building positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders is crucial, as is effectively managing the care home’s budget to optimize resources. In essence, the Nursing Home Manage, will be the driving force behind our client care home, ensuring that every resident receives personalized care while creating a supportive and enriching environment for their staff to thrive.

Do you have?

  • Nursing Qualification or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a residential care setting with over 40 beds, preferably as a Registered Manager.
  • Proven track record of achieving and sustaining high care standards within the care home environment.
  • Skilled in managing, mentoring, and motivating employees to build cohesive and effective teams.
  • Proficient in administering medication and handling emergency care situations.
  • Experienced in working with individuals living with dementia, demonstrating empathy and specialized care approaches.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant regulations, including CQC standards and compliance requirements.
