Nursing Home Manager
I am delighted to be working with an established care provider in the appointment of a Home Manager for a stunning nursing home in the St Leonards on Sea area.
Located within easy commute from Bexhill, Camber and Royal Tunbridge Wells, this wonderful nursing home has benefited from stable management over the years, and provides exceptional nursing care for up to 26 residents.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing an older people's nursing home
- L5 / L4 Management or equivalent qualification
- Nurse qualification, ideally RMN
- Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation
- Confident IT user, with good working knowledge of Word and Excel
Responsibilities
- To ensure that the highest level of care standards are maintained at all times through quality assurance monitoring
- To maintain a proactive and positive approach to complaints
- To ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision
- Recruit, develop and train staff within QCF framework
- Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines
- Assist in setting the annual budget for the home, monitor and control budgets on an ongoing basis
- Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies and plans
- Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community
Remuneration
- Salary offered at £45 - £50,000pa
