Nursery Teaching Assistant Job

Hays Education are currently working with a Partnership school located in West Leeds (LS27) to recruit a full-time nursery teaching assistant to start as soon as possible on a temporary basis. This nursery teaching assistant job will be Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 15:30pm. The school requires someone who has experience of managing behaviour in the classroom and has in-depth knowledge of the early years foundation stage.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant job it is essential you have;
Recent experience working with EYFS
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or qualified by experience)
The ability to manage groups of children and be able to manage challenging behaviour
The ability to quickly build good relationships with students, parents and other practitioners
Have previous experience working with SEN and EAL children

In addition, it is ideal that you are;
Highly adaptable as there may be instances where you will have to cover in various classes
Confident, organised and, at times, diplomatic
Patient and creative
Have a proven track record of developing children
DBS on the update service
