Qualified Nursery Assistant (Level 2 or 3) 
  • Location: Kempston, Bedfordshire

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join a dynamic and supportive nursery in Kempston. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to making a significant impact in young children’s lives and who believe in the ethos that ‘every child matters’. If you are eligible to work in the UK and hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, we would love to hear from you.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and room leads in setting up engaging and innovative activities.
  • Engage with children on a whole group or one-to-one basis, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Contribute to a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the children, meeting their individual needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs.
  • Two recent professional references.
  • Experience with behaviours that are challenging.
  • A calm and caring personality.
  • Strong and resilient character, committed to pupils’ development.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
