Nursery Practitioner

Nurse Seekers is proud to be recruiting a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner behalf of an Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING Montessori Nursery based near West Horsley, Surrey. The successful candidate must be a dedicated practitioner who is motivated and passionate about providing a loving, educational and stimulating environment to help children develop and become independent.

This fantastic private setting consists of a warm welcoming family environment with some staff members that have been there for 20 years and a Manager who has also been there for over twenty years and makes sure all staff are appreciated and skills are utilised.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide a safe and stimulating environment and ensure the child’s individual needs are met and developed.
  • To take formulative observations that provide authentic and accurate insight into the child’s learning and development.
  • To work in partnership with parents to ensure the child’s needs are being developed and nurtured.
  •  Contribute and validate that nutritional needs and the Food, Health, and Safety Regulations are incorporated into the nursery's daily routine.
  • Comply with the health and safety regulations for both the children and practitioners and ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications and experienced required for this role:

  • Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience with young children
  • A Montessori qualification would be an advantage but not compulsory.
