Nursery Practitioner

Based in Haywards Heath, we are looking to recruit a Nursery Practitioner to join the busy friendly nursery on a full time basis.

The role would suit a Level 2 or 3 qualified candidate.

Main Duties:

• Planning fun and creative activities for children from birth to 5 years
• Creating new education activities to simulate and engage the children
• Monitor and mentor the children
• Evaluate the children’s progress and complete reports
• Liaising with parents on children’s behaviour and progress
• Assisting with breakfast, breaks and lunchtimes
• Encouraging children to develop key life skills
• Follow the EYFS curriculum

Person Spec:

• Level 2 or 3 in Early years, cache or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role is desirable
• DBS enhanced disclosure
• Desirable: Paediatric 12hr First Aid certificate
• Desirable: Safeguarding training and qualification

Salary: £23,795 - £27,409 per annum depending on experience

Location: Haywards Heath

Hours: 38 hours per week over Monday to Friday
