Nursery Practitioner

Responsibilities:
· Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner.
· Assist with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities.
· Ensure the well-being, safety, and hygiene of the children at all times.
· Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
· Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.
· Follow nursery policies and procedures.
· Be punctual and reliable for shifts.
· Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· A recognised Early Years qualification, ideally Level 3 (will accept Level 2).
· Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.
· A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
· A passion for working with children and helping them develop.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to adapt to different age groups and personalities.
· Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
· Aware of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safety procedures.
Job Types:
Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Part-time, Full-time
Salary: £11.75- £13.75 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
· Liverpool, Merseyside: reliably commute
Education:
· GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
· Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
· Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
· Worked with children aged 0-5 years (Must have)
Licence/Certification:
· Driving Licence (preferred)
