Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking passionate Nursery Assistants to fulfil a number of permanent roles across Hampshire.

As mentioned recently in the news, Nurseries are currently expecting an increase in child registrations due to the increase in funding for families, meaning an increased need for staffing. We currently have a number of local schools and private nurseries seeking our help to find excellent candidates to fulfil these roles.

As the Nursery Practitioner, your main role will be to work within your assigned room looking after a group of young people, keeping them safe whilst on the premises. You will be an enthusiastic role model, and be there for each child in the best way possible, providing them with both practical and academic opportunities. You will encourage learning with an element of enthusiasm and fun, whilst ensuring you hold responsibility in keeping the children and premises safe at all times.

For these roles, you will expect a salary of between £11.50 to £13 per hour, which can be negotiated based on experience.

For these roles, you will be/need:

- Level 2 or 3 in Childcare Qualification

- Good availability

- Flexibility within both the role and time commitment

- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children
