Job Opening: Nursery Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a loving atmosphere where you can make a real difference in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute a child-centred program in collaboration with the nursery team.

- Act as a key worker for a specific group of children, maintaining their developmental records.

- Ensure a safe, secure, and stimulating environment that encourages children to reach their full potential.

- Participate in team meetings to plan activities in line with the nursery curriculum and children's development.

- Attend staff meetings and parents' evenings, often outside of nursery opening hours.

- Value children's ideas and experiences by including them in planning activities and engaging in their play.

- Understand and implement the nursery's Health and Safety Policy, ensuring the safety of all children in your care.

- Monitor and maintain the good condition of toys and equipment.

- Continually review the layout of all rooms, displays, and play material.

Qualifications:

- Experience in a similar role is preferred.

- NVQ/BTEC in Childcare

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well in a team.

- Passion for working with children and commitment to their development and learning.
