Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Location: Bristol

Salary: £11-£15 per hour

Job Type: [Full-time/Part-time/Temporary]

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners to join our team at Empowering learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and supporting their early learning and development. This role is perfect for those who want some flexibility as we work around your availability, if your available for a minimum of 2 full days a week!

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, lessons, and play opportunities
  • Creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment
  • Observing and assessing children's progress and development

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent Level 2 and above (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner in a childcare setting
  • Knowledge of child development and early years curriculum
  • Have a DBS that is less than a year old or on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures

Required skills

  • "level 3 early years" or "level 3 childcare" or "level 2 childcare" or " BA Early childhood studies" or "QTS"
