Nursery Nurse

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a small Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Nursery based in the Swindon Area. The nursery are looking for a passionate, experienced and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their quality setting and lovely team in providing children under five years of age, the best early years education and care needed for their development

Key Responsibilities

  • Be pro-active in ensuring the safeguarding of children and promoting their welfare.
  • Learn from experience and adapt working practices for the benefit of the children.
  • Communicate effectively and sensitively at all levels, both orally and in writing.
  • Foster and maintain good parent/child relationships, giving support to parents as required.
  • Be able to work in a team with other professionals and students.
  • Be flexible with working arrangements.
  • Provide a range of fun learning opportunities for individuals and small groups of children, both indoors and outside.
  • Maintain records in accordance with nursery policy.
  • Be committed to developing a nursery environment reflecting the equal opportunities policy.
  • Have a relevant and current First Aid Certificate.
  • Have a good understanding of Health and Safety practices.
  • Hold a Health and Hygiene Certificate (Basic food hygiene)
  • Be a Key Person for a small group of children as identified by the senior team.
