We are currently recruiting for our partnership school who are looking to enhance their EYFS team and recruit an ECT teacher for the start of the academic year. Our school is located in an affluent area and has excellent amenities and resources for young children. The school is a North West Leader in EYFS Provision and Pilot school for new teaching practices.

Interviews will be taking place over the coming weeks.

Your new company.
You will be working for a community-based primary school who pride themselves on inclusion and supporting children in all aspects of development in EYFS. They are looking for an experienced and passionate person to join their team. Your new school sets high expectations for all and are looking for someone who will immerse themselves in the ethos, values, and school community. They are part of an award-winning and innovative team who strive to further and advance Early Years and try new and unique ways to help children learn. The school has great links to outdoor areas and is located in Rainhill, which has excellent travel links to surrounding areas. They staff and leadership are supportive and can support ECT for applicants in terms of mentor support.

Your new role.
You will be expected to undertake full teaching roles and responsibilities within your nursery classroom. You will be required to effectively communicate with pupils and lead through example, in terms of setting high expectations for students. You will be expected to formulate a good understanding of the requirements of your class from an early stage and use Quality First Teaching Methods to engage and support pupils. You will also be expected to utilise available resources to provide maximum impact on pupil learning. The nursery setting is attached to a primary setting, and you will be engaged with the wider primary ethos. You will track and monitor development milestones in line with the EYFS Framework. Full CPD opportunities will be given to advance pedagogy.

What you will need to succeed.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you:

  • Have QTS and experience of Early Years teaching.
  • Committed to working as part of a close-knit teaching and support team.
  • Be fun, enthusiastic, and proactive.
  • The ability to provide high quality teaching and learning in a nurturing setting.
  • DBS on update service is preferred but not essential.
