Job Advertisement: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Lambeth & Southwark 
Start Date: April 2024
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent , Day-to-Day

The Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting young children’s learning and development in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
  • Support the emotional and social development of pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with the EYFS teacher to plan and prepare lessons.
  • Monitor and record student progress.
  • Contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant within EYFS.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
