Nursery Assistant / Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Practitioner

Full time (Monday to Friday) or Part time options available

We are currently recruiting 2 x Nursery Assistants / Nursery Practitioners for our award winning, outstanding rated children’s day nursery and preschool in the Woodhatch area of Reigate, not far from Reigate or Earlswood stations.

Looking for individuals who can promote high quality care in a stimulating, happy and rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for all ages of children from 3 months - 5 years.

We are a 90 place setting and invest heavily in our facilities, including smart boards, a separate purpose built baby unit and our very own soft play area. We have the option for either existing Nursery / Early Years Practitioners (qualified to Level 2 or above) who are looking for a new challenge, or someone who does not yet hold an Early Years qualification, that has a passion for working with children. We have funded training options available for anyone looking to take their first EY Level, or if you are looking to progress in your career through continued education.

Main responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Assistant:

• Provide a positive and happy learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children’s needs.
• Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
• Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
• Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare.

The ideal candidate will;

• Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
• Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
• Be qualified to Level 2, 3 or equivalent in childcare (highly desirable)
• Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages
