Job Title: Nursery Assistant

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire

Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience

Contract Type: Flexible working hours (full-time and part-time positions available)

Qualifications Required: Level 3 qualification in Early Years Experience:

  • Previous experience working with early years' education with children for at least 20 days in the last 2 years, either as a nursery assistant or as a volunteer (e.g., within a youth organisation, sports coaching, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
  • Supporting the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
  • Providing 1:1 care for individual children with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Collaborating with parents and guardians to meet the individual needs of each child

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with young children
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse schools and children
  • Understanding of child development and early years education
