Job Title: College Nurse  

Position: Full-Time

Role type: Permanent (term time only)

Location: North Devon

Rate: £28,637 - £37,681 full-time equivalent

Main Duties

• Coordinating the protocol and policy for the administration of medicine to learners 
• College lead for clinical health and care support for learners  
• To act as the college Designated Senior Mental Health Lead  
• To create care plan / risk assessment documents and formation and implementation of Learning Inclusion plans (LIP) for Learners with and Health related need 
• Be the single point of contact for Petroc in relation to learners who have health related needs  
• Provide expertise supporting cross college teams in relation to learners who have health needs  
• Liaise with external health partners, supporting the sharing and receiving of health-related information, and explore and implement best practices  

The successful College Nurse will have the following skills and qualifications, or be willing to work towards:

Essential

• Have clinical experience of working with Children and Adults
• Hold a Nursing degree
• Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council

Desirable

• Have experience working in Education
• Duel qualified in 2 of the 4 fields of nursing
