Role: New Product Development Technician

Location: Ireland

Salary: Up to £30,000

Lavandi Talent is currently working with a fantastic Beauty and Personal Care business who are looking for a skilled NPD Technician to join their team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation and enhancement of product formulations with the product development team.
  • Assist in the transition of laboratory formulations to full-scale production, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Collaborate with various teams and clients to align product development with market demands.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global regulations concerning cosmetic products.
  • Generate technical documentation encompassing product specifications, formulation procedures, and safety evaluations.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified to degree level in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
  • At least 1 + years experience in laboratory setting and or NPD, Formulation within Beauty and Personal Care.
  • Knowledge and understanding with cosmetic ingredients.
  • Exhibits adeptness in managing client and supplier relationships.
  • Proficient in adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Displays excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and communication acumen.
  • Adaptable to both independent and team-oriented tasks within a dynamic work environment.
  • Possesses strong research, analytical, and presentation capabilities.
