A Client of mine focusing on Law enforcement IT consulting is in need for a Non-functional Buisness analyst within the Team on their on-going programme with a Police constabulary.

A Non Functional Business Analysts is required to work with the business to identify and document non-functional requirements that can be delivered and tested. Having a technical skillset as well as business analysis experience would be required in order to document the following high level example non-functional requirements:

  • Performance
    • Scalability
    • Capacity
    • Robustness
    • Availability
    • Resilience
  • OAT
    • Back-up & Restore
    • DR
    • Data Recovery
    • Network Failover
    • Maintainability
    • Security
    • Operability and Supportability

  • Performance based metrics
  • Lifecycle for a service
  • Package of NFR’s that need to be tested across the full lifecycle
    • Web site – Performance
    • Intelligence platform
    • Data outputs
