Non-Executive Directors

Location: Lincolnshire

Salary: £6,365 per annum plus reasonable expenses

LHP provides great homes and strong communities to more than 20,000 people across Lincolnshire. We manage around 12,250 homes and have a £50m annual turnover. We are a registered charitable community benefit provider of social housing, and our social purpose is to provide affordable homes to those who need them most. We are looking to recruit at least 3 Non-Executive Directors with diverse backgrounds who can provide strategic direction to LHP, helping us to maximise our resources and deliver on all our key organisational priorities.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate one or more of the areas in the following criteria:

  • Great Homes: Strategic asset management and investment - including repairs and maintenance, stock acquisition and disposal, property repairs and maintenance, and property development.
  • Strong Foundations: growth, through development, partnerships, merger, and acquisition, strategic growth, funding, planning, and development of property (in a residential or commercial context). Business planning and scenario testing, financial management/accountancy – strategy, planning and stress testing and value for money, efficiency metrics, procurement, and use of resources.
  • Strong Communities: Regeneration and community development
  • ESG: Environmental and sustainability issues, particularly asset related – net carbon zero, retrofitting, renewable energy, and environmental and social impact assessment in relation to decision making.

Your respective track record of delivery, commercial insight and constructive challenge will contribute to our decision-making processes, adding value to LHP’s ambition of providing the very best in customer service delivery.

Given our ambition and focus on place, you will need to be passionate about wanting to make a difference for Lincolnshire and it would be beneficial for candidates to understand the communities that we serve. Your commitment will be supported by a strong value base that puts our customers and communities – present and future – first.
