Pay rate: £14.00 per hour
Shift Pattern:
21.00 to 9.00 (7 nights per week) –
Location: Gainsborough
Requirements: UK driver’s license & own vehicle.

Unfortunately we cannot provide VISAsponsorshipand we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in the Gainsborough area.

We are thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for a lively bubbly person that will interact with a 2.5-year-old little girl, she does have very complex clinical interventions but still a little girl that wants love and attention. This girl requires tracheostomy and ventilation support overnight.

This is a complex role and so applicants should be confident/have some experience with at least some of the above.

Key Responsibilities


Support Workers cover all manners of support for others – from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. The main responsibilities are below:
  • Trachy care and management 
  • PEG care – feeds via feed machine 
  • Medication administration 
  • Personal care including pad changes and Skin integrity 
  • CPAP via vent and Oxygen administration and management 
  • Physiotherapy 


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


The ideal candidate would have some experience with the below but it is not essential:
  • Experience with Trachy paediatric.
  • Enteral feeding.
  • Childhood development 
  • Complex care     
  • CPAP 
Essential:
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
  • Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
