Night Operations Manager- Transport/ Logistics

I'm recruiting for an experienced NIGHT Transport Manager to join a leading, transport logistics company based in the Colnbrook area.

Daily duties will include:

• To ensure the smooth running of the night operation
• Conduct monthly reviews/ presentations with the customers or as and when required.
• Train new members of staff and to ensure all staff receive the correct/ up to date training
• Ensure budgets are properly controlled and managed, to achieve best profitability for the company but not at the expense of the customer.
• Oversee the customer service delivered by the team and assess that they are meeting customer satisfaction goals.
• Prepare, revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation as and when requested
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
• Monitor Sub Contractors and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
• Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation, including setting objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved
• To build and maintain to professional relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
• Manage and Implement new business from Sales to Operations.
• To ensure targets are being met and maintained

Experienced needed:

• Previous experience Operations Manager experience within transport/ logistics
• Strong leadership skills
• PC literate
• Problem solving skills
• Route planning experience
• Full UK driving license
• Steady work history for referencing purposes

Working hours:

• Monday - Friday 40hrs a week
