New Product Development Process Technologist

Our client, a leading international food manufacturer, is looking to recruit an organised, professional, and creative Senior Process Technologist to work closely with the NPD team during the development of new products and product improvements.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager duties to include:

• Joining the Technical Service team you will be working on pack copy, calculating nutritional values and advising on any on pack claims for products made at the company manufacturing sites.
• Liaising with external designers, printers and key stakeholders to ensure all packaging and labelling meets legal/regulatory requirements in the country in which it is being marketed.
• Manage the artwork approval process for your projects.
• Approve raw material specifications used in your project.
• Approval of factory specifications for your project.
• Working with the business to deliver the required working practices, documentation for BRCGS accreditation.

As a successful candidate you will have experience within a similar role with a comprehensive understanding of an NPD process from concept to launch and a food technician/nutrition qualification would be desirable, with excellent communication and teamwork skills, organised, flexible, and innovative approach together with a passion for the food and the food industry.

Salary £25,000 - £35,000 DOE + Bonus
