Commercial Property Lawyer

Elevate your legal career with a prestigious role that offers a blend of autonomy and collaboration within a dynamic Commercial Property team. A highly respected law firm is seeking a seasoned Commercial Property Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience to join their Gloucester office, where expertise is not only valued but rewarded with a stimulating workload and the support of a dedicated team.

In this role, the successful candidate will be entrusted with the day-to-day management of diverse Commercial Property transactions, ensuring meticulous handling from inception to completion. This includes the sale and purchase of transactions, the granting of commercial leases, and the drafting and negotiation of contracts, transfers, and commercial business leases. The role demands a keen eye for detail in raising and responding to property title enquiries, as well as commissioning and reviewing property search results.

The chosen candidate will be the lynchpin in reporting to clients, overseeing the exchange and completion of transactions, and ensuring the timely completion and submission of SDLT returns and registrations at the Land Registry. Furthermore, the role encompasses the achievement of billing targets and the provision of day-to-day supervision of junior colleagues and support staff.

This position is not just a job but a chance to enhance one's professional development. The manageable caseload is designed to allow the right individual to hone their skills, build enduring client relationships, and contribute significantly to the growth and success of the Commercial Property department.

The firm prides itself on fostering a supportive environment, where the successful candidate will work alongside the Director, benefiting from paralegal and secretarial assistance. This is a chance to be part of a team that is not only invested in the success of its clients but also in the growth and development of its members.

Candidates must possess robust knowledge of Commercial Property law, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and have a proven track record of supervising junior staff. The ability to actively promote and develop the services of the department is also essential.

Take the next step in your legal career with this challenging yet rewarding role, where your expertise will be pivotal in driving the firm's Commercial Property endeavours to new heights.Apply directly to Hannah Williams at TSR Legal.
