A fantastic opportunity for a New Business Sales Executive to work for an excellent company, within a great office environment. An ideal role for a results-driven individual who possesses natural flare and passion for sales and building brand partnerships.

£22,308 with Uncapped Commission / Realistic OTE of £30,000 plus.

Your personality, being customer-focussed and the ability to build long-term business working relationships is pivotal to the success of this role, and joining the rapidly expanding Content Team. Here you will be responsible for sourcing brands to provide prizes for competitions which will be run in highly well-known household magazines. This is a sales role with a difference; with achievable targets and uncapped commission, where the product being sold has a variable price range from zero to tens of thousands. The concept is to work in collaboration with well-known magazine publications in the UK to create meaningful partnerships with brands that fit well with the readerships of the publications.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with brands and companies to source prizes for competitions run in magazines
  • Identify potential new brand partners and develop new business opportunities
  • Negotiate and secure agreements with brand partners to ensure the timely delivery of prizes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all prizes are delivered to the winners in a timely and efficient manner
  • Accountable for leads and opportunities to meet targets
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company's brand partnerships
  • Monitor and report on sales activity and progress toward targets
  • Maintain and update internal systems with full information of opportunities and tasks
  • Timely and accurate reporting

Experience Required:

  • B2B sales experience, preferably in the media or advertising industry
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
