Job title: New Business Account Executive - Trade Credit

Salary: £55,000

Location: Birmingham

Purpose of role:

Our client is currently seeking a New Business Account Executive to join their small ambitious organisation and participate in the future of the company.

You will be working within a busy environment, generating, handling, and overseeing New Insurance enquiries. The role includes Prospect Client visits as required, preparation of market presentations, liaising with underwriters, negotiating directly with prospect clients.

Experience:

  • Be IT literate with excellent communication skills and telephone techniques for dealing with day-to-day communications with clients.
  • Be dependable dynamic flexible and possess an excellent knowledge of the UK general insurance market.
  • Proven New Business Developer with sound Commercial Insurance knowledge.
  • Effective use and understanding of technology required to transact business.
  • Negotiations and Closing skills.
  • Ability to develop opportunities.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a structured process.
  • Relevant technical Insurance knowledge.
  • Demonstrate good communication decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems.
  • Compliance with regulatory and business procedures.
  • Accurate reliable self-motivated candidates with excellent communication skills need only apply.
