We are supporting a market leader in their search for a Network & Systems Engineer. Joining an established team in central Ipswich, you will help define the long-term roadmap for their network infrastructure. Working with the Head of DevOps, the successful candidate will participate in the design and architecture of the enterprise network and systems. Where needed, you will offer technical expertise to the test and support teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working with Linux systems.
  • Experience integrating systems, networks, and platforms.
  • Experience with configuration management.
  • Experience Implementing new network functions and new systems.
  • Strong understanding of switching and routing.
  • Virtualisation (VMware).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Please note there is flexibility of remote working on offer, however there is still an expectation for office working, so the succesful candidate will need to live within a commutable distance.
