  • More than 12+ yrs of experience in Network & Network-security administration & troubleshooting with emphasis on operations.
  • Manage or team lead over a team of 5-10 people in setting priorities, performance assessment with some upper management oversight.
  • Large enterprise experience is required. Either as an employee or managed service provider serving large customers in excess of 25,000 employees.
  • Coordinate onboarding to enable new joiners to become proficient.
  • Perform work alongside the team and aid the team to accomplish

Network Routing & Switching:

  • Ensure the team manages network LAN/WAN incidents and SLA are met
  • Ensure the team raise and implement various network related changes following the client process
  • Ensure the team is having required knowledge to troubleshoot business impact network outage issues and implement emergency changes if required
  • Ensure the team follows standardize network routers and switches configuration following the engineering standard documents
  • Ensure the team follows Tech refresh/End of life products replacement projects, etc

LoadBalancer:

  • Ensure the team implement the F5 Configuration for Prod & Non-Prod Environments
  • Ensure the team create and schedule F5 changes and present the changes in daily review meeting
  • Ensure the team troubleshoot and resolve F5 related Incidents
  • Ensure the team support other external task where other Tech teams required F5 support during major network changes

Firewall:

  • Ensure the team delivers firewall security requests and work with requesters to implement approved rule changes.
  • Ensure the team is scrutinizing network traffic, updating virus scans, troubleshooting and resolving security breaches and vulnerability issues
  • Enable the team contribute to large scale firewall deployments
  • Extensive working knowledge of Network & Network-Security Technologies - Network perimeter architecture, Routing, Nating, Palo Alto NG Firewall, IPS/IDS, Webfiltering, BGF,OSPF,MPLS,VRF,VPNs, Cisco Core & Access Switches, DNS, and F5 Load Balancer
  • Extensive knowledge on Network Monitoring tools - ScienceLogic/ NetworkBrian/LiveAction/NetworkScout
  • Extensive experience in Incident, Request & Change Management
  • Must understand the technical components of client server relationships and strong experience in managing customer conversations.
  • Good working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, networking concepts and infrastructure security.
  • Build and maintain monthly shift schedules, track progress of the incidents/changes/requests and provide regular status updates on key project milestones to leadership team and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and grow the team through recruitment, trainings, challenging assignments, and rewards/recognition on consistent basis
  • Understand and continuously recommend improvements to Network Operations processes, documentation, and tools.
  • Responsible for risk identification and mitigation
  • Ability to quickly assimilate technical and non-technical information
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communications skills; ability to communicate with stakeholders effectively
  • Provide technical and hands-on leadership across multiple project areas
  • Provide guidance for resource management and operations coverage for 24x7 Network operations
  • Obtain and keep up to date the organizational and technical knowledge required to perform the role.
  • Travel is required to Krakow office during client visit once in a year
