My client a leading Consumer Retailer with over 30 sites aorund the UK, looking to expand their core network team with a Senior Network Engineer with particular skills in Cisco and Fortinet.

Resposibilities would include

  • The design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current network environment
  • The configuration, implementation and support of firewalls, routing, switching and wireless environments
  • 3rd line network support for complex incidents and problems

Ideally, you will have

  • Design, deployment and support of Fortinet firewalls including FortiManager, FortiAnalyser & FortiNAC
  • Design, deployment and support of Cisco switches and routers
  • Design, deployment and support of Meraki switches, security devices and wireless devices
  • The ability to complete maintenance and firmware upgrade activities on the technologies listed above
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Infrastructure Security (ACLs, ACS, VRFs, Vlans)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of network management tools (SNMP, Solarwinds, PRTG)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN and resilient WAN technologies
