Network Engineer – Hybrid – up to £55k

Pearson Carter is working with a large tech organisation, who are expanding their team, as part of their growth.

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join a dynamic team. Within this role, you will be mainly implementing and troubleshooting highly available networks, building out tooling, monitoring, and security controls, configuring and admin the network and the resilient LAN/WAN infrastructure

Also, this role requires to participate in on-call cover from time to time. Progression is very clear within this role as well.

Experience required:

• Firewalls, switching and L2/L3 principles.
• Configuration and administration of resilient network infrastructure and devices
• Network Monitoring, alerting and logging
• Experience of configuration and administration of resilient LAN/WAN infrastructures
• Checkpoint, DELL, Meraki and ESXi (desirable)

Salary:

This is a permanent position and offers £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience + benefits + hybrid working.

Location:

The client has got an office in Edinburgh with a flexible work environment where working from home 2 times per week is possible. For the right candidate, there might be some flexibility for less travel to the office.
