Netsuite & Finance Process Consultant

The role will report into the Finance Director and will be a critical support to the business to support improvements in process and therefore their system (Netsuite). The role will produce detailed process maps of all Netsuite workflows (including integrations with other systems), identifying improvements in processes and work closely with their Netsuite developers to implement new processes. The end goal is to have fully documented, simple and efficient processes across the whole group. This role will work with an Internal Controls Specialist who will implement a group control framework in place by end the end of the year.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the various local finance teams and other systems teams to produce detailed workflows for all processes that impact on any areas of finance (P2P, O2C, R2R etc)
  • Identify weaknesses in the current processes (including but not limited to control failings and inefficiencies) and propose changes to those processes
  • Standardisation of processes within the Group
  • Work with Netsuite developers to design and implement the improved processes across the Group
  • Re-design the Group chart of accounts so that it is significantly simplified
  • Manage change across the group to support the adoption of new processes
  • Any other ad hoc tasks

Skills and qualifications needed

  • Extensive Netsuite experience is essential
  • Experience of process mapping and design
  • Experience of working in a multinational, global organisation
  • Strong experience in Excel
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent)
