Our client a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicle parts are currently seeking a National account engineer to join this fast paced business your role wil include, Ensuring that there is a reliable transparent network of aftermarket distributors and maintenance providers for the vehicle group products. You will be also supporting this network so that they can source required parts competitively and uphold required maintenance regimes to a high standard.

You will grow and develop the complete product profile at each customer and support the growth of the brand as the primary product and Increase pull through of genuine spare parts and technician training.

Other responsibilities include:

• Ensure fleet operators have a clear and transparent aftermarket and maintenance provider structure.
• Act as a liaison between the maintenance network and distributors to develop new value stream opportunities for both.
• Promote and expand the coverage of approved trained technicians within the market.
• Qualification and recognition of workshops meeting the approved standards.
• To build strong relationships at all levels within fleet customers, workshops and parts distributors including, but not limited to service mechanics, workshop managers, fleet engineers, fleet managers, purchase agents and fleet owners.
• To inform, advise, train and support users about the company’s product offerings.
• To secure customer commitment in specifying the company’s products and services.
• To always provide first class customer service
• Ensure there is a structured itinerary and visit plan for the approved distribution and maintenance network.

You will ideally have experience in

• Ability to operate and build relationships at all levels.
• A background of working in a customer facing role within the Commercial vehicle industry,
• Experience with fleet operators, CV workshops and parts distributors.
• A self-motivator who is keen to drive both their career and the business forward.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and generally IT savvy.
• Nights out will be required.
