Talent Guardian are hiring for a National Account Manager to lead on key relationships within high profile Christmas and All Year Round business within Key High Street & Dpt. Stores.
 
£50,000 + Car Allowance + 15% Bonus + Benefits
 
Managing key relationships, this NAM role is a critical one for the business as they look to accelerate growth and further develop over their next phase of growth.
  • Predominantly driving our clients branded, co-branded and private label Christmas range
  • There will be significant input into the company’s long term Christmas Strategy & the annual Christmas catalogue, with a key focus on managing the relationship with their long-term suppliers to develop products for the likes of; John Lewis, Lakeland, Selfridges, Fresh & Wild, Harvey Nichols and Fenwick’s
  • Experience of managing High Street/Department stores retailer relationships is vital to this role. The candidate will have a strong commercial & product development process understanding, (ideally from a manufacturing business) and will work in partnership with the Marketing team and Sales Director to manage their  suppliers. 
  • Responsible for delivering strong and robust Account Plans and one year Trading Strategies which will enable sales, profit, and distribution targets to be delivered
  • “Win the hearts & minds of our customers” by developing great customer relationships.
  • “Win the war in store” through a clear strategy to establish key brands, top selling SKU’s and getting new ranges and products listed, driving distribution & both on/off shelf feature space
  • Track record in unlocking both branded and private label sales/profit growth.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in fostering strong buying/trading relationships is necessary.
  • A genuine interest in and knowledge of food and ingredients.
 
The role has full ownership of this channel’s P&L as well as responsibility for unlocking new accounts and winning new business whilst growing and developing the existing business 
 
This is an exciting role with plenty of autonomy and an opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced commercial environment.
 
The position is based near Uxbridge with a hybrid approach.
