Our Client is a market leader in International and Cross Border Ecommerce delivery.

The Role

As the National Account Manager you will be focusing on the top tier Retail Client’s Nationally

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring contractual compliance and effective management of the Accounts. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of contractual, operational, and relationship management aspects.

You will need strong International experience in Export and Import - with good knowledge of Clearence, Taxes and Duty and B2C Ecommerce - Must have experience of Managing High Value Accounts with Board Room level Negotiations

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the Account Management related to the Top tier Accounts
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, including service level agreements (SLAs), timelines, and performance metrics.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for The Client regarding contractual matters, legislation and compliance.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Client, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal operational teams to align contractual requirements with day to day delivery operations.
  • Ensure that operational processes adhere to contractual obligations and deliver the agreed-upon service levels.
  • Participate incontract negotiations, working closely with legal and business development teams.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPls) outlined in contracts
  • Regularly analyse and report on the performance of delivery operations, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to contracts, amendments, and negotiations.
  • Address and resolve any issues promptly, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in Key Account management, within the International logistics or supply chain industry
  • Strong Knowledge of Export and Import of goods and Clearence, Taxes, Duty and B2C Ecommerce
  • Strong understanding of negotiation principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Familiarity with retail delivery logistics is advantageous
