National Account Executive Job in Christchurch (Foods)

You’re looking for a role where you can work with products and travel Europe. You’re confident presenting to clients, and becoming the go to person for the account. Dovetail Recruitment are working with an innovative business in Christchurch who are always looking for new ideas, encouraging creativity while remaining commercial. They are now looking for a new National Account Executive to join them in their foods division.

What you’ll be doing as National Account Executive:

• Managing a portfolio of your own clients, and taking on more responsibility for larger clients over time
• Visiting customers and presenting new products
• Travelling to and speaking with suppliers to track the progress of projects, managing to projects from end to end and scoping out new ingredients and flavours
• Working with the Product Developer, Technical Manager and supply chain team to track projects and ensure delivery dates are met
• Analyse and report on progress of your accounts
• Oversee orders, ensuring they are accurate, and invoicing and stock management is well managed
• Work with the internal buying teams and external manufacturers to secure ranging

Minimum Experience Required:

• Ability to present to clients and run supplier meetings
• Interest or experience in the food industry
• FMCG industry experience
• Ability to travel frequently

Salary & Benefits for the National Account Executive:

• Circa £35 - 37,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday per annum, increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service and 30 days after 5 years’ service
