Position: Part-Time/Full-Time

About Us:
We are a respected educational institution in Preston, dedicated to nurturing the musical talents of our students. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Music Tutor to join our team and provide high-quality music education to our students.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Develop lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and learning styles.
  • Encourage and inspire students to develop their musical abilities.
  • Prepare students for music exams, performances, and competitions.
  • Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Background in Music: Strong knowledge and proficiency in music theory and practice.
  • Experience: Preferably experience tutoring or teaching music, or experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate: Preferred for safeguarding purposes.
  • Valid and Contactable References: Professional references must be available.
  • Right to Work in the UK: Must possess valid documentation.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
