Music Tutor (EYFS-KS1)

Committed to producing high quality work that informs, excites and entertains, Opera North is looking for an experienced and well-motivated individual to fill the role of In Harmony EYFS-KS1 Tutor (Maternity cover, 9 months with a chance to extend)

The In Harmony tutors within the Learning & Engagement team deliver a year-round programme of high quality and engaging group music tuition at the In Harmony Opera North partner schools.

The successful candidate will have classical music training and a demonstrable high level of musical skill and literacy. You will have experience of working in a professional capacity delivering engaging musicianship sessions for Early Years and Key Stage and a strong understanding of Kodály musical pedagogy. Salary: £30,133 per annum (pro rata)
