Then look no further - We're currently offering an opportunity for a Music Teacher to work Full time for a School in Leeds starting ASAP until 19th July.

The School wants to give its students an excellent education and an engaging learning atmosphere. Additionally, they put an emphasis on fostering student's social responsibility, interpersonal skills, and academic achievement. It encourages virtues like respect, commitment, and resilience.

Requirements:

• An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one ( we can help with this ).
• PGCE & QTS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in at least one musical instrument and vocal performance
• Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and various genres
• Proven experience in teaching music to students of different age groups and skill levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to individual student's needs and goals
• Teach fundamental music techniques, sight-reading, music theory, and ear training
• Guide students in repertoire selection and performance preparation
• Conduct regular assessments to track student's progress and provide constructive feedback
• Organise and coordinate student recitals, competitions, and other performance opportunities
• Stay updated with current trends and advancements in music education
