We are currently seeking a Music Teacher for a secondary school located in Durham. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students in a secondary school setting. The candidate should have a passion for music and education, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Your new role
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to secondary school students- Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive music program
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events related to the music program
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)- Experience teaching music in a secondary school setting
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for music and education
