Step Teachers are currently seeking a part-time Music Teacher to join the team in April 2024 to teach both KS1 and KS2 students. This role is subject to start after the Easter Holidays on a part-time basis. As a Music Teacher at this dynamic primary school in Ilford, you will play a pivotal role in developing our students' musical abilities and fostering their passion for music. Music Teacher Role:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons to primary school students, ensuring they meet the needs and abilities of all learners.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to explore and develop their musical talents.
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their musical understanding.
  • Collaborate with fellow Music Teachers to integrate music across the curriculum and support cross-curricular learning experiences.

Music Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A strong passion for music education and a commitment to inspiring students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Experience planning and delivering music lessons in a primary school setting is desirable.
