Music teacher required in Merton for immediate start:

Attention all passionate Music Teachers! A dynamic and motivated individual is urgently needed to join our team at a large, mixed Secondary Academy in Merton. You will be responsible for teaching Music to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, starting asap.

Our Academy has a strong focus on academic excellence and student well-being, and we are committed to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment. We need a Music Teacher who shares our values and is dedicated to providing the highest quality education for our students.

As a Music Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons, monitor and assess student progress, and contribute to the development and implementation of the Music curriculum. You will also be required to participate in departmental and whole-school activities, including parent/carer evenings and staff meetings.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have relevant Music teaching experience, possess strong subject knowledge, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must also be able to provide proof of identity, address, right to work in the UK, and an Enhanced DBS disclosure.

This is a temporary position for the Summer term with the possibility of becoming Permanent in September as the school are also looking for a Head of Music for the next academic year.
