About the Role: As the Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be joining a world-leading materials automation provider. Based in a new, clean automated environment, you will be part of a large engineering team with opportunities for advancement.

The Shift Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance engineering of the site, to provide technical expertise ensuring all preventive and corrective activities are completed to the highest standards in line with all current legislation. You will guide the Maintenance Technicians and support the Maintenance Shift Manager with high level technical expertise, ensuring that equipment availability is maintained to the highest level.

This is a highly autonomous role where you will be working with minimal supervision. You will be part of engineering team and you will be completing preventive and corrective maintenance on time and to the highest standard in line with customer expectations and KPI’s. We are looking for someone who will have experience in coaching and mentoring new technicians.

Requirements: You will be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, and results driven. You will ideally have ONC/HNC or Full B-Tech in Electrical / Electronic OR Mechanical Engineering/NVQ L3+ or equivalent or Apprenticed trained. Relevant sector skills are desirable.
