Our client, based in Houghton Le Spring, is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician with an Electrical Bias to join their maintenance team.

Hour of work would be Monday to Friday 40 hours. Shifts - 07.00am-3.00pm / 3.00pm-11.00pm.

Duties:

  • Planned and preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery & equipment within the manufacturing facility
  • Reactive maintenance
  • Identifying reliability issues, root cause problem solving and improvements
  • Troubleshooting and repair skills with a strong Electrical bias
  • Carry out other support maintenance work when required
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment on site is both mechanically and electrically safe
  • Work closely with production when investigating failures
  • Adhere to Health and Safety requirements in line with company procedures

Requirements:

  • Served recognised Electrical or Multi Skilled Apprenticeship
  • 5 years minimum experience ideally within a Manufacturing environment
  • Basic Mechanical skills/knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Commitment to Health and Safety procedures
