Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group have the pleasure of working with a leading precision manufacturing company based in the Bradford area. This leading manufacturing company, are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team due to busy workloads!

Salary: £44,000 to £54,610

Location: Bradford

Hours: Bespoke 3 week 12 hour rolling rota- no weekend work!

Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Working on CNC lathes, CNC Grinding machines, semi-automated assembly lines, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics
• Working on PPMs and breakdowns daily
• 2/3 projects to be completed/ involved in throughout the year
• Ordering parts/ spares to ensure available as and when needed
• Electrical wiring, panel building, testing, inspection and fault finding
• Working on PLCs (S7 mainly) and robots - fault finding and rectification
• Ensuring daily, weekly and annual servicing is complete
• Rebuild key CNC machinery as and when needed
• Assist with machine installations
• Providing support and training for operators and apprentices
• In the absence of a manager plan no work schedules
• Working with other departments working to continuous improvement to ensure the business is the best it can be

Desired experience:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
• It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
• Ideally, have 3 years experience in an Electrical maintenance position recently
• Must have experience with CNC machines and strong fault-finding knowledge with PLC’s
• Must have a continuous improvement focus
• Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
• Must be IT literate
• Ideally, have 18th edition
• Must have a good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment
