The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, to work for a well-established Food business based at their Northwich site due to expansion. Working as part of a team, your role will be a mixture of reactive and planned preventive maintenance work, along side continuous improvements and projects.

Responsibilities

- Electrical & mechanical diagnostic/ fault finding techniques on automated food manufacturing machinery.
- Awareness of Production OEE's and strive to make improvements to the OEE's.
- H&S checks and equipment compliant, in place and working.
- Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Routine maintenance and monitoring of production machinery, and ensure all tasks are carried out and/or recorded in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in projects as and when required.

Candidate Expectation

- Apprentice trained or equivalent to level 3 (mechanical or electrical).
- Working in a multi skilled capacity
- Ideally from a fast-paced manufacturing background such, although other engineering backgrounds will be considered.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Experienced working on continuous improvement projects.
