Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy engineering company to recruit a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team near Thirsk.

Salary: £48,653
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm & Friday 7am - 1pm

Working within a small team, the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on plant machinery.

Our client is looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer who has a good knowledge of Hydrostatic Transmissions and is fully capable of working with Perkins, VM, and Cummins engines ideally with a good mechanical knowledge of Side Loaders, Counterbalance Trucks and MEWPS.

Duties and responsibilities of the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer include:

  • Managing breakdowns promptly
  • Re-commissioning machines
  • Identifying the parts to keep the machinery running
  • Completing the relevant permits

We are keen to speak with Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers with the following:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
  • Time served with either electrical or mechanical qualifications.
  • Experience of working in a similar heavy environment
